Anne Dilling

Anne Dilling (b. 1940) studied with professor Otto Steinert at Folkwangschule für Gestaltung, Essen, from 1959 to 1962. She continued her photographic practice with scientific photography, advertisement and documentary photography. According to Steinert’s tuition, she worked with experimental techniques such as negative printing and reworked negatives, and Steinert did her portrait in 1961. A selection of her works, among them abstraction and jazz reportage, are kept in the collection of Museum Folkwang, Essen.
